Guide / Sell with fulfilment

Having Colour Apparel create your Shopify store

Work with Colour Apparel to define your range, store setup and fulfilment workflow, then review the store before launch.

Selling through Shopify

Start with the business you want to run

Send a brief describing your customers, product range, artwork and brand presentation. Include any existing domain and the way you want orders fulfilled.

The store-creation route is separate from connecting a Shopify store you already manage.

Agree the scope

  1. Define the products and personalisation required.
  2. Confirm store ownership and administrator access.
  3. Review design, content and domain requirements.
  4. Agree fulfilment, payment, shipping and customer-support responsibilities.
  5. Review the project scope, charges and ongoing-management arrangement.

Keep a written record of the included work and handover responsibilities. Identify optional work separately before commissioning it.

Review before launch

Check product accuracy, prices, tax presentation, customer policies and contact details. Review the buying journey on mobile as well as desktop.

Complete product mapping and the fulfilment test order. Check the exception route, not just the successful order.

Take over with confidence

Confirm who manages products, orders, billing, domains and support after handover. Keep account ownership and access in the agreed organisation rather than sharing passwords.

For later changes, use the relevant store-management or fulfilment support route with the store reference and requirement.

Make the handover specific

List the pages, product range and branding assets you need, then agree what Colour Apparel will configure and what your business will maintain. Include the domain, store ownership, subscriptions, ongoing app charges, customer policies and support responsibilities in the written scope. Do not assume a store build includes photography, copywriting, marketing or every integration.

Before launch

  • Check every product’s garment, variant, image and selling price.
  • Read the tax, delivery and returns wording from a customer’s perspective.
  • Test the buying and enquiry journeys on a phone.
  • Complete the agreed fulfilment test and exception checks.
  • Confirm who manages access, billing and future changes, with each person using their own authorised account.

Prepare a clear enquiry

Send your intended audience, store or domain address if you have one, product ideas, artwork readiness, expected order volume and launch target to support@colourapparel.co.uk. Ask for a written breakdown of the proposed build and the ongoing service before committing.
