Guide / Company Stores

Creating a Company Store for your organisation

Bring your approved clothing and branding into one Company Store, with an ordering setup matched to your organisation.

Running a Company Store

Plan your store

Start with the people who will use it and the range they need. Company Stores support recurring uniform ordering from your organisation's agreed catalogue.

If you are selling merchandise to your own customers through Shopify, use the fulfilment route instead.

Prepare your brief

  1. Identify the teams, sites and people who will order.
  2. Choose the garments, colours and branding.
  3. Decide who manages the range and member access.
  4. Describe payment, delivery and any approval requirements.
  5. Include new-starter, replacement and seasonal needs.

Send the brief through the Company Store setup route. The team will shape the store configuration with you and show the setup scope, charges and next steps.

Agree the ordering rules

Review the catalogue, user roles, payment route, delivery choices and configured controls. Budgets, allowances, approval rules and purchase-order arrangements are shown according to your store's agreed setup.

Keep one organisation owner responsible for approving the range and confirming administrator access.

Launch it to your team

Review the store with a test member and administrator. Check the range, branding, ordering flow and delivery instructions, then share the correct access link with your colleagues.

Members use the ordering guide. Administrators use the management guide for catalogue, access and ordering controls. Both routes remain visible from the Company Stores help page so people can go straight to their task.

A brief the team can act on

For example, a business with 24 wearers across a workshop and reception might need two garment ranges with the same approved chest logo. Record which garments belong to each role, the sizes required, the locations and who can approve future changes. This is a planning example, not a package or minimum team size.

Before anyone orders

  • Agree the garment codes, permitted colours, branding positions and artwork version.
  • Confirm who orders and who pays. If you need allowances, approvals or purchase-order references, ask which controls can be provided for your setup.
  • Confirm setup and ongoing charges, the delivery arrangement and the route for replacing unavailable garments.
  • Ask for the actual member and administrator instructions. Check the agreed route with a test user before circulating invitations.

What happens next

Email your brief to support@colourapparel.co.uk. Keep a copy of the agreed scope and nominate one organisation owner. A planning enquiry does not activate accounts, approve a credit arrangement or place an order.

Put this guide to work

Use these planning documents to prepare your details. They do not submit an order or create a store.
