Using artwork you have permission to reproduce

Upload artwork you own or have permission to use on the clothing you are ordering.

Ordering clothing · Selling through Shopify

Check permission first

A company logo, illustration, photograph or character may belong to someone else even when it is easy to download. Check that your permission covers the intended use, including sale through your own store where relevant.

For an organisation's uniform, use the current artwork supplied by its authorised brand contact.

Prepare the file

  1. Confirm the artwork source.
  2. Check that the intended clothing and use are covered.
  3. Use the correct current version.
  4. Keep any permission record with your project.
  5. Upload only the information needed for the order.

Personal information in artwork

Check names, photographs and other personal details before uploading them. Use the appropriate permission for the people shown and remove unrelated information from the file.

Saved artwork access follows account and Company Store permissions; access to a file is not a substitute for permission to reproduce its contents.

If you are unsure

Contact the rights holder or your organisation's brand owner before ordering. The team can help with an artwork question, but a successful upload or preview is not a legal clearance of the design.

Use the privacy guide for access or deletion requests relating to stored artwork.
